With Extra Hands...

at my disposal, I'm usually very productive. 

Having my mom and dad in town over the weekend,

I was able to get some canning done.

This was the first time I canned venison.

I'm very excited to find out the results-

 I tried it three different ways to give us some options to see which we like the best.

Because I had my pressure canner out,

I decided to give it a go and try canning some kidney and garbanzo beans

for a 'quicker' throw-it-together meal.

Hummus, soup, and chili are on the list.

This is a crazy week,

but black beans and northern beans will be canned as well.

I love winter canning.

 

 

 

 



My Little Princess' Birthday

My little princess' 6th birthday was this weekend

and she was lucky enough to have visitors- Nana and Papa.

My little princess requested a ballerina cake...we did our best.

She ran around giggling all day long.

If your not convinced, just look at that smile. 

 

I'm so proud of the young lady she is becoming.

 

I'm truly blessed with the wonderful family I have.

 

Surprise

About a week after Christmas,

my husband surprised me

with cabinets for my sewing/crafting area.
I feel like a professional crafter now.

I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful

having my craft area organized is.

It enables me to get projects done faster

because everything runs more efficient.

I love, love, love my new craft area

and am busy making Christmas gifts for next year:)

Thanks to my wonderful husband for being

the man I adore.

 

 



Updates....

Sorry again for the delay in the posts.

I'm again having issues with blogger uploading photos.

As my blog is mainly photos,

I've decided to take a break until they get this problem fixed.

I mean, who wants to just listen to me talk, right?!? 

At least I'm not the only one who has this problem-

The blogger team is working on a solution.
