Santa Stop

We lucked out again this year,
by picking the same weekend as the Santa Stop.

The Santa stop is a toy drive that runs the length of two streets.
At every sign along the way, Santa and his helpers come to collect toys.

The kids end up getting to see Santa and get a candy cane from the North Pole.

Santa is very pleased with my big girl.

And what's a visit with Santa without a high-five?

By the way, Santa doesn't fly with reindeer in Florida because there's no snow
so he uses his 4-wheel drive sleigh powered by Ford:)

Is that you, Santa?

Just because they weren't always in the swimming pool
doesn't mean they weren't getting wet.

They all had a blast in the bubbles.

And were shooting for a Santa look alike.

That's a sad looking Santa.

We all got in on the fun.

A Day at the Park

On Sunday, I stayed back at the house to have a hour and a half massage,
while Meg, Bri, and Zach took the kids to the park.

My big girl getting a ride.

Of course, they had a little farmers market in front of the park.

They all had a great time running,
especially because they were feeling better.

My adorable neice and my handsome husband.

My little girl nicknamed the "beast".

What's a trip to the park without a little yogurt treat at the end?

Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Patiently waiting...

and the payoff!

The kids just keep asking when can we go back?:)

Florida

We just got back from a wonderful vacation to my sister's house in Tampa, FL.

They just purchased a new home and lucky for us was big enough to
accommodate all of our family.

We enjoyed swimming in the pool.
Although it was 'chilly' to the Texans and the Floridians,
we Wisconsinites didn't seem to mind.

What could be better than swimming in a pool outside in December?

The excitement for the kids (and adults) couldn't be contained.

It was like being at a resort, without the little white flag:)
(Meg and Bri were more than accommodating, always checking if we needed anything)

The kids enjoyed playing soccer in the backyard.

The girls constantly checking on the temperature of the pool.

These two make quite the pair.

Here are pictures from the adults night out to get crab!
My mom and dad.

Jess and her friend Ami.
Meg (MaeMae) and Brian.

My hubby and I.

Here's the whole gang.  We had a blast! And I got to eat CRAB!
Since I have so many pictures,
I'll be doing a couple of posts over the next week from the trip.
So stay tuned for more.

The First Haircut

Well, our big girl just got her first haircut.

It had gotten a little difficult to manage since dad is the only one allowed to brush her hair
and we decided to make my life a little easier.

I was really afraid she was going to loose her "baby look"

She had to sit on my lap to let the hairdresser get near her,
but it went smooth as soon as she realized it wasn't going to hurt.

She got little bangs and a trim.

She still looks like my baby...crazy as ever.

She's already asking when she can go again...
it might have to do with the lollipop she got to pick out when she was finished.
