With Extra Hands...

at my disposal, I'm usually very productive. 
Having my mom and dad in town over the weekend,
I was able to get some canning done.
This was the first time I canned venison.
I'm very excited to find out the results-
 I tried it three different ways to give us some options to see which we like the best.
Because I had my pressure canner out,
I decided to give it a go and try canning some kidney and garbanzo beans
for a 'quicker' throw-it-together meal.
Hummus, soup, and chili are on the list.
This is a crazy week,
but black beans and northern beans will be canned as well.
I love winter canning.
